NF turned out to be pretty awesome. I loved OF until the rise of the Animists turned everything into MG stalemates where three or four animists could stop any number of enemies from coming through.
SI was awesome and made crafting totally worthwhile. But they failed to update the epic armor sets, making them worthless and killing the value of the epic quest.
ToA sucked balls and definitely killed the game. I can't count how many RvR guilds were decimated by people quitting rather than grinding out the master levels required to remain competitive, especially when so many of them were broken or wouldn't register completion (for some random players).
I did enjoy a resurgence on the Classic servers and put a lot of time in at the beginning of those.

ToA was more buggy then si. But it had more to be bugged. Hib Si was a god damn disaster. Mid was peachy. I believe they got around to fixing the ac pathing a couple years ago if even. Hibs Gala dungeon is still fucked I think. Gala.. Poor hibs.

In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a server out there like that, or there was. Classic server it was called I think? I could be wrong about that.
