I highly doubt things have changed THAT significantly since 2009, when a Gallup poll showed 73% of Republicans identified themselves as conservative.

Look for the Party Based Ideology header just before halfway down the page for the simple bar graph.
Interestingly enough, only 20% of the Democratic party identifies themselves as liberal.
