The fact that they got you to go "WTF" was the whole point of them doing that, because otherwise they have nothing going on in their lives that matters in a narcissistic world. People popularly do little to support cultural items of real worth when any society has too many people. That is not me quoting scientific studies, that is me giving an opinion based on what I have observed of humans all over the world. If I had the time, money, training and whatever else I needed, I would like to put that opinion to the test.

Already read that book. Scientists dropped a teeny-tiny stable black hole out of their lab and in a few hundred years it ate the earth.
