habenero powder is hard to find.
i make my own.
its ok, though. it wont effect the recipe at all aside from a hint of flavor and touch of heat.
it was a bonus addition i started with my personal blackening spice mix

It was good Sweeny. I think I overcooked it though but the rub was pretty good. I also had trouble finding ground fennel. I only saw the Fennel seeds at the supermarket.

Catfish is delicious but has a strong taste, and as Yuki has pointed out it needs to be cooked correctly or else.
Basically you have to have more testosterone than estrogen to enjoy catfish.

buy a coffee grinder
throw in a handfull of fennel seeds and push the button.
it also works with dried habeneros.
crush them by hand first and separate the seeds so you can get more of that habenero-y flavor without as much of the insane heat.
if you want to dry out some habeneros place them on something screen-like and let them sit in the oven. i use a mesh spaghetti strainer type of thing.
