It was rather sad imho. Purdue owned them the entire game until Jackson choked twice in the last minute and gave them the game.

beware, chickenhawks. another double digit seed lies in waiting. though if it's not a low or mid major school, the double digit seed kryptonite might not be as strong.

KU had their worst shooting game of the season. A lot of teams would have collapsed as Purdue rained downed three bomb after three bomb early in the game. Instead, they gutted it out and came up with a win. They showed character and determination in the face of adversity and earned their 15th trip to the sweet 16 since 1990.

They didn't really do much of anything except hang around against a ten seed until the ten seed's point guard turned the ball over twice in the last 45 seconds to give them the game. If that is the Jayhawk strategy this year, I'm worried about my bracket.
On a side note, the tourney was a lot of very badly played basketball, complimented by horrendous officiating.

Keep in mind everyone said we were going to be rebuilding this season after losing all those starters. With this program, even a "rebuilding" year can get you into the Sweet 16.

Uh, it wasn't like their point guard gave up two unforced turnovers in the last 45 seconds. KU's defense locked their asses down. It was effing beautiful.
