you're talking about killing animals, which is fine.
the thread is about killing other humans, which is a topic worth some debate.

when it comes to murder, i side with manson, who claimed to be a victim of society.
the real question is, how can we create a society where people do not want to murder?

we live in an overpopulated world where extra stresses are placed on many people.
this leads to deviant thoughts and behavior. perhaps in the distant future, we will
be pushed to reproduce at increased rates to populate desolate planets.

Humans are predators who kill animals. Humans kill other humans for various reasons like war and self defense. Murder is a special case. Even in war many people suffer post traumatic stress syndrome proving killing other humans is not healthy

murder in it's purest form is killing another of the same species with no justification.
it appears that the worst murders are those that occurred with minimal justification.

when you split hairs like this, perception is key.
as such, i cannot recall any murders that occurred without any perceived justification.

I think it depends on what your definition of insane is... is there a difference between evil and insane? Or rage and insanity? People murder for a lot of different reasons... sometimes people's emotions get the better of them (especially under the influence of drugs or alcohol) and sometimes it's cold and calculated.

If someone were to harm or kill one of your loved ones, I think a normal reaction for many people is to want revenge. Does that make one insane, too? If it does, we may all be a bit insane consdering the amount of movies that are made with that theme. It always comes down to the hero having to shoot and kill the bad guy... rarely do they go to trial.

I do agree though that there is something seriously wrong with people who randomly kill or have so little regard for human life that they'd kill over a pair of sneakers.
