Being nearly local we seem to get a lot more than the national news wants to say. The almost daily bombardment of news briefings from the local PD and local news channels seems to be giving a lot more in depth info than what the national side is giving.
1 witness is wanting to modify her statement and nationally its like a pack of rabid dogs have been released without considering the other witnesses statements at all. The fact that Zimmerman was walking away from the teen (which is backed up by witness statements) when he got blindsided and was asking another witness for help while being pounded on is enough to warrant deadly force imo. Everyone sees this as a skinny kid that was attacked and didnt deserve getting shot. Sure that may be true in so many ways but you and I werent there in that situation with a gun on our side wondering if our life was about to end. Id prefer if we all waited until the ALL the evidence is presented before condemning someone. Something the national media and many others arent willing to do.

Grym,
Ask yourself this question; if the version of the story you are clinging too was true and was actually supported by evidence, wouldn't more news sources be talking about that, rather than saying the same thing that they have been for 4 days?
Yes Virginia, they would.
If they were objective and rational, I would agree with you. But since they are neither...

But they are not stupid. If there was enough evidence to swing this the other way it would already be swinging. That's my point. Zimmerman claims he was walking away. I have so far seen two witnesses on TV who say otherwise. They were quite emphatic that Zimmerman was the aggressor.
The reality here is that the majority of evidence is against Grym's version while he pretends it's the other way around. If they had a witness telling the story Grym's claiming then by now you could google and find it. But you won't. You'll find them saying the same thing. The idea that local news is different is ridiculous, the world is not like that anymore.
Grym's been saying this for two days yet no major news site has changed their story.
Do the math.

His story doesn't even make sense. He followed the kid in his car for a bit, got out and followed him. Checked in with the police again, said he'd lost him, looked around till he found him again, followed him down an alley, then, turned around and walked away, and then the kid attacked him?
I'd also like more of a description of what Zimmerman was wearing and where he kept his gun. Was the gun visible? Did he have it in his hand? How far from his truck did the struggle take place? More details like that would help make the situation clearer.
