You know, I sort of feel the same way about vampires now... For many years the concept I had of a vampire came from AD&D, I Strad, Ravenloft ect.. My imagination has been under attack since the Goth movement.. Now these fairy glowing vampires are what people think of when I tell a good vampire story and it's ruined..

Ann Rice's vampires were awesome. But then they practically burst into fucking flames in sunlight. How's that for sparkling?
