The Mega Millions drawing will be held Friday from Atlanta at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 10:00 p.m. Central Time, 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
What's the latest I can buy a Mega Millions ticket?
If you're a last minute kind of person - even with more than a half-a-billion on the line - not to worry. You can buy tickets up to 15 minutes before the drawing. (10:45 p.m. Eastern Time, 9:45 p.m. Central Time, 7:45 p.m. Pacific Time) Except if you live in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, where 9:50 p.m. is the deadline.
Of course I would imagine there will be lines and if you don't make the deadline you are SOL.

The lottery places are all packed all day. Someone told me that over $1million is being spent on lottery tickets in NYC... every hour.
Now I'm up to 5 tickets and the office pool.

I got 25 of my own and the guys from my work combined as a team we have 250ish. I know some people that did a pool for 100 each. They have like 600 or so.

I bought one ticket and I'm excited! I can't for the life of me figure out why, I know I'm not going to win, and I know Mastboro isn't going to win if he bought 6,000 tickets. Owell... enjoying it while it lasts.
