rock

Didn't want to buy one until I found a way to transfer my OS
onto it without reinstall...now I bought two Mushkin 120GB ones,
put it in raid 0 and damn things fly

Of course, for you morons that don't make OS image

Manegarm, from reviews on the net seems like Corsair and Intel are the best, but
for some reason they cost twice as much here

the reason it is stupid to stripe bstool is because it's a relatively small amount of data, and striping ONLY increases speed of writes. This didn't used to be the case but it is now. it used to be that reads would only use a single channel, but now both channels are used for reads on a mirror or a stripe. So buying two smallish drives and not mirroring them if you are going to use them both for c: is pretty dumb. Or as we say over here croat.

That ATTO diagram speaks exactly the opposite

Well I usually have the philosophy when it comes to off brand tech is that it's going to cost me double either way when I have to replace it.. Or even more when it fries my motherboard.

I usually go for Corsair when it comes to most things only thing they actually suck at is making mouses and keyboards.

Then again, SSDs are pretty generic thing...if both Mushkin and Corsair use same NAND type
of memory, and same SF-2281 controller, what can really go wrong?
