DD-214 is your official Department of Defense "resume". Lists things like rank, training, what medals or citations you may have received, separation (Honorable Discharge) etc. Nothing on it is ever classified, as there is nothing detailing actual operations - so if you declined to show yours they would probably just chuckle, thank you for coming in, and tell you not to let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
