No. Itemization being the biggest hurdle.
Charcopy to mordred and gaheris? This should happen but hasn't and therefore won't. That way everyone can play on all the rulesets when they want without losing access to any of the other servers.

You can transfer from Mordred to Pendragon! 
Really though, I'd focus on character copies to Mordred, as those are more probable.

I've seen this idea bounced around and I don't get it. They're supposed to transfer the remaining hardcore Mordred PvP players to the PvE coop server? That would be like... emptying a busload of murderers into a nunnery.

lol. Yeah but it could be done a lot easier since both servers have similar coding to allow characters to use different realmed items and stuff like that. I actually think its not a bad idea, though maybe the people on Gaheris wouldn't like there being some battlegrounds there. I would maybe consider resubbing for this kind of idea. It would be like easymode PvE which leads to easy to find PvP action... good for me because I just don't have time to invest in the game anymore, but i'd like to play for fun once in a while, but I don't like Molvik all that much to play only in Molvik..

My thoughts exactly.
Gaheris players have always been referred to as "care-bears," right? If there is one player demographic that exemplifies the complete polar opposite of "care-bear," it would have to be the population of Mordred.

This would lead to the vast majority of Gaheris immediately quitting DAOC. Thus sticking Mordred right back into the same boat they're already in.

the people from Gaheris wouldn't want to deal with the douchebags from Mordred in general. The Mordred folks would go out there and PvE greif, steal encounters and make fun of people in region...all the things Gaheris people wouldn't want. Let Mordred people copy to regular servers, and simply not equip items from other realms.
