It is a tie between 2 things:
Lag issues.
Developer involvement.
Love me some DAoC. Multiple accounts played for 6+ years solid. Time to sever the cord and give money to a non maintenance mode game. I can no longer stomach giving money to the likes of EA and absent developers stringing us along.
Make a new start from scratch server, I'll most likely check that out, provided I'm not totally sold on Rift, but done with ywain.

The one thing that needs to be improved above all else is the staff left at Mythic. Get rid of the intern(s) and get someone with half a brain. And that goes for the retard babies making balance changes too.
