This was posted in Feb...ever since then they have been quiet!!!
All they did was throw out a strange carrot. Basically a name of some "dude" that nobody knows or cares about that will never post on the VN/interact with whats left of the community or do anything for DAoC.
I haven't a clue why they even bothered to mention it in the first place.
In a nutshell it was a waste of time.

It's just another sham to make you think they are actually supporting this game. For all we know this guy may be cleaning toilets....

carrot dangled = job done for couple of months. just face it this game, 2k players or not, is going down soon. they're just buying time with your $$ untill it hits 10 years, than they're done.
