Level 45-49 and lookin to work on RR before 50. Possible?

ok cool, i think I am ready for some rvr finally.
New Frontiers I am understanding the map a bit, i guess i should just head to where an enemy tower is burning and help them attack? Or defend one of our burning towers?
Also it sounds like Lab is the other rvr/pvp spot? Is this Labyrinth? Channeler takes me there?

There are two ways to get to lab.
A portal on Agramon's island, or the portal near the Blendrake keep.
