Classic tried to "solve" the buffbot problem: look out that turned out.

I see this as a possible advantage. Way back in the day, maybe people had level 45 support classes used 100% for buffing and nothing else, because it was hard to level them to 50. My idea now is that just about everyone with 2 accounts has some active RvR characters and several PvE toons on both accounts, so maybe if it was in any way possible for them to log on just 1 account and get right into fighting, they might do that sometimes, and yet not go ahead and cancel their other account(s).
Just the possibility that some significant number of accounts MIGHT be cancelled would put Mythic into a panic. They can't afford to lose many more accounts and keep the game open, realistically.

A year ago I would have said buff changes would never be implemented. Bioware seems to do things differently and aren't
afraid to change long standing game features (see Slam duration). They have already added yellow con buffs, I fail to
see the big jump to some of the changes proposed here.

that's kind of what I was thinking, it doesn't seem so crazy anymore. Just take the existing system one step further and let people have access to a buff npc anywhere they are, and one more small step by making them +140 instead of +130. It's unlikely they will, but maybe they would at least consider it. Would make my playing experience a lot better anyways. Even though I do run a bot account, someone like me who only plays casually really hates having to transport buffbots everywhere and always log into two accounts, and level buffbots on both accounts for every realm you play on, its just not worth it anymore.
