agnari: seriously.. give it up already.
you're trying to play dev here, and it's only making you look foolish.,
Tree Stats hasn't been re-released since Decal Alpha 3, and many plugins HAD to be recompiled between 3 and 4 sometime in order to really work. (Some plugins work without compile, but many require it).
a recompiled between 5b and 5d wasn't needed because there were no breaking changes to interfaces or anything that would break binary compatibility.

Well my 4 characters with dashes in their names, one of which is a monarch out of laziness to swear him to somebody, can all log in just fine with Charstats enabled.
So please, stfu about it. They're working on it and it's not related to a dash.
