Im having trouble updating decal.


I have installed the new alpha 8 version, but all plugins etc show up with a red x. Tried updating the xml files though the built in updater, as well as the decalutil found on the acdev website, but to no avail.


Any ideas?

did you update the plugins?


are they now old outdated plugins?


post an export as the experts say.

Make sure acclient.exe is up to date.

Did you try a clean install?


uninstall decal and all plugins then re-install them.


Anytime they update decal I always remove everything and start clean, helps save a lot of headaches.

lol ... I don't go quite that far (I do reformat about 2 times a year though)


Normally I go in to add/remove and uninstall everything ... clean out most folders left over, then re-install decal and all the plugins I use....

I'm gonna try that now

Just re-installed Decal, with all plugins uninstalled, and have the same problem.

I saw everything with red x's too. I just ignored it and played anyways. The red x's are gone. Shrugs, dunno what it was.
