If you can open the websites at work, why don't you download the install files to a USB memory stick?
I realize that doesn't solve your internet problem, that's not my knack, but at least that way you get your plugins!

Hello ....
As it is appreciated the respect you have of the folk on this forum .. the problems are on your browser on your computer.
This may be as simple as a DNS problem on your computer .. but no matter .. get out of the chair and ask someone locally there in your home town/city to take a look at your computer.
There is very little to go on here to fix the problem. You are asking about VERY simple (and frustrating) problem that are the basis of internet browser operations.
