Just carry Massive Mana Charges. They're 65k in value and will cover anything up to 26k in value 100% of the time! You DON'T need to carry items from every category.
For me: Level 140 means that I'll drop 7-9 DIs each death along with half of my pyreals. I currently carry 20 Massive Mana Charges so I'm good for 2 deaths IF I don't recover my first corpse. All of my gear (armor, weapons, etc.) are under 26k each.

I usually don't get my death items back after I die though, so don't feel like shelling out the cost for massives all the time. I usually start out with titans then as I die/loot others I have a whole variety of items. It's be nice to be able to see which items are going to drop with a list so I can remove some others that I don't need that are higher bu.
