im really itching to get decal working please help! i'll pay mmds in frostfell if i have to

Uninstall decal, then find the decal registry cleaner linked on the forums here somewhere and run it.


Then install the stable decal version.

i have uninstalled both decal and asherons call and reinstalled them. i used ccleaner etc.

now the message im getting is acclient stopped working right after i click enter world.

Not ccleaner, the cleandecalreg utility you can find in numerous forum posts if you actually look

when i run the registry cleaner it says "failed to remove Decal registry settings"


what do i do now

Run it as admin

i ran the reg cleaner and reinstalled decal. when i went in game with just decal it worked fine.

i downloaded VTANK and vtank had me download a c++ redist package

now im having problems again

it never goes from the screen that has the double blue bars to the character selection screen unless i alt tab then go back into the game.

once i come back to the game and click on enter world i get a game error

"could not initialize direct3d. please ensure that directX 9.0 or higher is installed."


"the game encountered a fatal directx issue while attempting to start. try a different screen resolution or bit deph. if that doesn't work, try new video driver."
