Reformatting Windows Vista help?

I am looking to reformat my now almost 2 year old gaming PC, but I never made the system recovery disks(If I did I can't find them).
What is the best way to go about doing this?

Give me an hour. I have a half a dozen legal Windows 7 codes. I'll see if I have one I haven't used yet.
You'll have to download the disk, but any version you want. 32-bit or 64-bit ultimate.
If I don't have one, I should have a few more in a couple weeks.

Yes, you should bite the bullet and go with windows 7. This is the perfect time and Vista it just a warm, steamy turd.
It's not going to cost 90 bucks either.

If you don't have a Vista disk then a Windows 7 upgrade disk may be a risky bet.
