I have never failed at anything, and I'd feel like a failure if I didn't follow through.

This past year's resolution was to play golf at least 2 times every month. Most months I played 3, and never once skipped a month. So it was completed.

This year, my New Years resolution is three-fold:

1. Go to the driving range at least twice a week. (This is going to be a tough one, but I'm committed)
2. Run at least 12 miles a week.
3. Schedule my CCDA test before the end of February, and get my CCNP certification before the end of the year.

This is by far the most I've ever tried in one year, but I'm motivated, and incapable of failing.

good luck, esp on that test

I don't because I figure that if I don't have the motivation to do it any other day of the year, what makes the beginning of a new year special? If I want to accomplish something, I just go do it.

I generally do, but I rarely keep them.

I also hate making them because there is always at least one person that says they resolve not to make resolutions, and bringing them up inevitably causes that to happen.

i like laughing at the lemmings stressing over what their resolution that they HAVE to make though.

funny how people put MORE time into coming up with there resolution than they actually put into KEEPING it.
