White plates with borders bother me.

I just don't like them. I have some and I decided to throw them away,
Then I considered why throw them away if they aren't broken, and if I'm going to throw them away anyways, why don't I break them.
So I broke one on the floor, but my newspaper padding somehow ripped, and it poured shards of ugly white with a border plate on the floor. Safe to say things didn't go as planned. Now I need a better way to destroy these plates. Now it's complicated. I don't know how ditching some plates got personal, but it did.
After my floor was defiled by plate remains, I drew some faces on the rest, at first for stupid fun, but now those faces are haunting and antagonizing me. They're telling me they'll go down fighting if I dare move in on them. They're occupying my kitchen and they won't leave.
Please advise, ACF.

So, what does newspaper padding have to do with breaking plates? 
I'm confused here...
And if you want to break the plates... If you have a shotgun, go play with the plates like they're clay pigeons...
