If you are playing an MMO, you are less likely to have a lot of friends irl, more likely to be attempting to escape from your life, more likely to be competitive, more likely to be young, and since a lot of people liked the original old republic game because you could choose to be evil, they probably also like that aspect of playing MMOs.
It's a generalization, but I think it's fair to say it applies to a good number.

The Republic is due to be flooded over the next couple months, so you can enjoy more jerks when these bore you.
In before someone who thinks preorder population ratios are accurate to estimate post-release ratios tries to argue with me.
I haven't purchased TOR but I know how these things go and my post is accurate.

Doesn't change things. There's a lot of noobs that this is their first mmo too. Did a 2 man flashpoint with a sith who rolled on a sniper rifle I wanted because he didn't know how to pass.
