i'm not sure if it was worse because of the massive amount of scotch in my system or what but he looked like either a zombie or a bad cyborg tonight. dude was seriously scary. max headroom was easier to follow and understand than dick was tonight.

We turned it on at about 11:50 just to watch and we saw Ryan Seacrest enter the studio with him right after midnight. We were hoping that was when they'd hand over the reigns to Ryan for good.
I don't recall Ryan saying anything bad to Dick. Just bad self-deprecating humor when Dick said he started doing this 40 years ago, before Ryan was born, and Ryan said he was the same height now as he was then.
