got my new dishwasher today, and possibly a can of propane

My old dishwasher bit the dust right before New Year's Eve. Since we were going to have 20 people over, it was an inconvenient time for it to die.
The installers left behind a can of propane though. I tried calling to tell them they left it, but haven't heard back yet.
In the event that they don't want it back...what should I do with it?

good for stoves, lanterns etc. you'd need to get a tree for it though along with what you wanted to use with it.
edit well im assuming its a large tank but if its a small one disregard the tree thing.
