So am I...
But the cat I have was a 'TOSS OUT' (people that move out of my apartment complex toss their pets out and leave all the time)... 
Kitty was so scrawny when she ran in 2 years ago. Took her in and fed her, put up 'lost cat' signs, nothing. Took her in.
I think it's because she has such short hair that I have been able to live with her furry butt all this time.
