Did you get any van winkle this year? It's highly allocated and hard to get. The 15 year pappy is well worth the hassle.
I have not seen a single bottle of it here in WA. Searched the liquor store sites with no avail. Haven't bothered ordering it...I think the wife would kill me. Oddly enough, she likes the smell of whiskey on my breath, but hates the taste of it.
It rarely ends up on the shelf, but is really affordable. Some of the higher end shops might have some in the back.
Out here, the liquor is still controlled by the state gestapo until June, so if they don't have it on the site, it ain't in stores.
