The temp. rose to 61 degrees today in Marshall, Canby & Madison, MN. There has NEVER been a 60 degree temp in MN during the 1st wk of Jan

Seriously the weather here is amazing. Its killing a lot of the winter industry though which sucks for those folks. Going to hurt a lot of farmers if we dont get any snow.

In the winter they sure do.
Skiing and snowmobiling keep some places alive up here. They will make snow from about late october to mid april if the temps are low enough.

Not really. They will usually melt it and then ship it via rivers and streams or evaporate it and ship it through the atmosphere. It's all really very efficient, if unpredictable at times.
