I'm surprised no one is calling shennanigans. WD-40 does not have fish oil in it. That is an urban legend.

One of my more derp moments in life:
During the winter, I open my window alot to let in cool air. It's a sliding window, and the track gets sticky from all the fine dust here in the desert, so I have a can of WD-40 on my desk. Right next to it is a can of 'air' i use to clean out my keyboard/computer case.
One night after work I went to clean out my keyboard. Guess which can I accidentally grabbed?

the problem with it, is that it collects dirt in it, so in the long run it's not really good for your window or sliding door track. you're better off using a dry lubricant that won't attract more dirt.
