I would think like with Duke Nukem, the longer you wait for a game the more disappointed you're going to be with it

I liked hacking the crap out of Diablo 1 characters and waiting for some cheating pk to test me.

I used to hack so much in that game. One time I saw a warrior with a god damn 2-handed staff, figured guy must be cheating one way or another so smacked him with a level 38 Fireball. He died.

gamestop had pre-orders for the end of January...

that's not saying much but Feb seems about right for sure before July

it's not going to be a spectacular game probably as good as D2 but everything I've seen shows that's it doesn't bring anything all that new to the table updated graphics and a physics engine

a new skill system one I don't entirely like it seems far more shallow then we had before plus the runes that mix and change your skills seem ripe for exploits and glitching

7/10 '

yes I am excited to play it

Duke was a 1999 showcase game anyone that used to play Quake 2 or Doom 1 would see the signs

I don't think it was developed much from where 3D realms left off after Gearbox took over which is really sad seems more like a marketing decision more then an artistic one.

Lets release the lost levels of Duke Nukem Forever to cash in and put as little money into it as we can...

I pre tested that one so glad I didn't invest in it as much as I love Borderlands it did give me some insight into Gearbox Studios.

I just hope they put some effort into Borderlands 2 I didn't really feel I got my moneys worth out of Borderlands either the traliers led me to believe the story would be much richer and deeper. In all honesty I feel it could of used a few more cut scenes and npc interaction.

It's a great game to play with friends in co-op but the single player is very lacking.

I realize that

I'm all for min-maxing but I don't like to be forced into it I had all sorts of gimps in AC as well as a few templates of the month.

If you play single player you can get away with some gimpy D2 characters and get through hell pretty well ok.

If you play on-line your almost forced to do the above

that being said my favorite character was my no health ice sorc
