I usually give the tsa the benefit of the doubt, but after seeing this one last night I have no idea htf they could f this one up. And now, thus far, they will not even comment or at least their bs canned response is very disturbing: "well no one got hurt, so no harm no foul".
Very disturbing.

The story on the news stated tsa saw the gun on a scanner of some form, I am pretty sure it was in her bag, and somehow by the time they turned around to question her she was gone. So apparently it was in her bag and not even on her which would require a search.

she put her bag down, walked thru and left before the scan was complete. they found her on a plane.
today she says she is sorry for all the trouble she caused.
that wing of the airport was closed off, planes were evacuated. all sorts of things.
but hey, she is sorry!

This summer when I flew back from Anchorage to Maui, I had a layover in Honolulu for a bit. I went out for a smoke, so I had to pass through security again. While I was going through, I apparently forgot that I had not one but two box cutters in my carry on lol.
