He's toxic after the case for Iraq, unfortunately. He was certainly in a position to be groomed for high office but he participated in some badddddddddddddddddddd stuff.

I'm n not entirely sure of their thought process, but if they are driven so much by religious bigotry, they'd settle for a catholic over a mormon.
Though my personal opinion is that there are nowhere near enough people whose vote hinges on it to make much difference.
