Posada retired today guys  , I think we should all have a moment of silence. To me he was always my captain. Only yankees shirt I really care about is my Posada one, is my first one too.

Life long Yankee and was the Yankees' starting catcher for a decade. One of the more consistent players we've had, too. His fielding and hitting ability is what most see but he also coached pitchers extremely well too

He's also very quietly been one of the best catchers in the majors for much of his career. No hype, no real fame outside of real baseball fans or Yankees folks. And he seems like a pretty nice guy, too.
