AC could just do lower xp rates if you dont sub, everyone who still subs would. what keeps me from playing or subbing right now is no one plays the games pretty dead. make it f2p so many would come back. i would sub again if my server was not so dead.

AC will not go FTP the code would need to be overhauled to support a cash shop.
AC2 on the other hand could be relaunched as ftp but they would need to partner with steam or they wouldn't get enough potential customers to make it worth the running costs.

EQ2 has been " free " for a while now.. You only get access to 4 races and 6 classes you have to sub to play the rest its kind of... just.. its bad lol

yeah but they have more people playing and logging in to the game each day just because of that.
