Nah, man.
The right amount of mayo can really make any sandwich. Most places go way overboard, but just a thin spread on the bun can really add a lot to fast food burgers.
Of course, real burgers that are made with something like 90:10 beef and are cooked right (hot pink center) and are allowed to cook/sit without being poked/prodded only need three things beyond the bun: Salt. Pepper. Cheese.... Anything else is covering up the dried out bland flavored installed by over cooking and poor technique.
