I'm part of the search for the missing climbers on Mt Rainier - we're scouring the Muir snow field tomorrow, then up past 11,000ft to look for bodies on the glaciers. A bad reason, but any reason to go climbing is a never a bad thing to me.

When I did search and rescue we would head out as soon as the call came in. (Well, after all meeting at a spot to discuss the plan)
