Bush created 4 million jobs. Obama lost just as many.

So Obama plans to put the vets he downsized out of the military back onto the federal payroll doing other stuff? Instead of creating a special corps with another bloated bureaucracy, why not give tax breaks to companies that hire veterans and contract the work out to companies that specialize in those types of projects? The GSA, Park Service, and other gov't bureaucracies are already big enough to handle the work load of managing the projects.

The World is not dangerous because of those who do harm but because of those who look at it without doing anything.

whats the difference between paying them to do stuff and paying them unemployment?
which every military member automatically gets if he applies after discharge from the service.
you dont unload 100's of thousands of troops into a already crappy employment situation without some kind of contingency plan.
that is just common sense.

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.

isn't there already a tax break for vet hiring companies though?

i know there are companies that are mandatory government sources that make a large profit off of the taxpayers too.
sucks knowing that i can roll into staples and spend my $500 office supplies and be set for the year, but due to mandatory sources i have to spend $1500 and have no waste or loss.

good for them for hiring vets, (i dont agree with minority owned though) but shame on the gov't for allowing bloated prices.

His "job plan" is BS. It's gonna cost us more than $50k per job and it helps less than 3% of vets.
