Because it basically sucked this year and no one watched it. This is ENTIRELY his fault. Back in the 80s and 90s there were skill competitions, and the rules made it a much more entertaining and competitive game.
The best change that could be made to the NFL and the Pro-bowl is the ousting of Goodell.

It really is kind of a joke, especially with the SB the week after, a bunch of guys are always forced to not play.

Goodell has nothing to do with the Pro Bowl sucking. Money has everything to do with it. Guys that are making 15 million dollars a year arent going to risk careers on a game that means nothing.

For most of them, this. For guys under crappier contracts early in their careern, its a good chunk of money extra they can get.

They get 20K for losing, 40K for winning. Even for the guys early in careers thats peanuts.
