Who's been watching Spartacus Vengeance?

Hard to watch it without Andy Whitfield as Spartacus but I am enjoying it. Obviously a bigger budget for sets etc, the plot is already getting thick, action is progressively more badass. What ya think so far?

You can really notice the increase in budget lol.
I am liking it so far, I don't know if the novelty of it has worn off or this seasons just isn't as good though lol.

I am really not liking the combat scenes. EVERY FRICKIN SLASH GOES TO SLOW MOTION!! I mean seriously, it's like a kid found a special effects button on an old school camcorder.

I haven't been able to get past the bad acting in front of a green screen feel of it yet, the new Spartacus just doesn't look right to me, he doesn't fit the role imo.... but it is still better than 98% of the other crap on TV

Never watched TV much so haven't seen the original, but I've heard talk of the same thing you're saying from friends who watch it.
Seems to happen a lot like a "spinoff" (for lack of a better term). Never as good as the original, with a few exceptions.
