They've pretty much just floundered since Hagar left and I think they are jealous of how he's been doing in his solo career and with Chickenfoot. Van Halen was great back in the day. Alas, I think they have nothing new to offer we will enjoy.

They have one or two good things but the rest is "ohhh it's van halen so it's obviously good"
But it's not.

Van Halen did have one incredibly bad habit. They would put an album out with on or 2 good songs on it and the rest were absolutely horrible.
