Sounds like a "501 Blue".
A couple of my friends claim to have invented this drink (or one very similar - I think with Schnapps rather than vodka and maybe some sours mix) when they were bartending in State College bars while attending Penn State in the mid-80s. Not sure how credible their assertions are, but if you're a girl-drink-drunk, that's a good one.

Never Mole Pops, but I have used this stuff:
It can be worth its weight in gold on a long hike for preventive care or for after you've already gotten a blister.
Also this stuff is outstanding for blisters too.
