-The starting movie is well done and you will notice facial textures are improved for shepard and the main characters, lesser characters are about the same as ME2.
-The game starts off with a "dark" and "real" feel to it. Its sort of like the difference between Batman Begins and the light hearted idiot fest that was Batman and Robin.
-Shepard is MUCH more jaded in both what he says and the actual dialogue choices you select at the start. Even your Paragon responses are jaded, like you are a good asshole.
-Combat is the same as ME2 from what I can see so far.
-The starting area with the Reapers attacking is amazing (in a way), as it finally gives true perspective to how big these things are and how f***ed Humanity and the rest of the Galaxy is. Some of you may remember Mass Effect 1's ending area where you are fighting on the outside of the Citadel where Sovereign is attached to the Citadel's Hull and how big that thing was. This puts it in much more perspective.
-Overall graphics are not much better than ME2 from what I am seeing, but the draw distance appears a bit improved and there is more stuff on the screen.
-The starting "terrain" is much different than previous games, meaning you can "jump" over things and there are things like drop offs and such. ie- not a flat world.
-Character building is like Mass Effect 2 but there is a branching interface to each of your Skills and there are more stats involved now. There are also more skills in general, like Fitness. Some other things I saw was "strength for equipment" which I am not sure about.
-Health, is split into "bars" and only a bar that you are currently damaged in will regenerate, making the game a lot harder. If you lose health, you are using health kits in other words.
-Hard Mode is actually hard, at least on the Mech in the second part of the demo. He owned my ass about 15 times before I gave up.
Overall, pretty damn good. Can not wait to play the final game. Going to be awesome.

I survived to the end and got nothing out of it, but hey.
