There is like a void of time MMORPGwise, with several things coming up in the future but not now...

Recent games I have played(some longer than others) were Dragon Nest, Vindictus, Rift, Aion(Had played it before but I gave 40+ a try), Realms Online, Eden Eternal, Golfstar, Loong, Iris, Skyrim, Kitsu Saga, NEO.

(Of course I played AC1, EQ1, EQ2, Vanguard, DAOC, COH, LOTRO, Horizons, Dungeon Runners, Warhammer, Cabal, etc)

Sure I am missing tons but it shows about where I am gamewise.

Yeah I guess the content locust does apply -- I tend to only be happy in a game when I am exploring and gaining levels and when I hit the level cap usually the game is over -- I am not content to farm equipment and re-run dungeons.

So it puts me between games at this point which is fine I guess -- but are there any decent games out there that will tide me over till Tera etc?

Tera gets grindy pretty quick, I'm personally waiting for GW2.I'm playing some AC, Rift and WoW in the mean time.

As to what to do? Not much really. I can tell you that Diablo 3 should be pretty kick ass when it comes out, and should be far more replayable than Diablo 2 was.

Did you not like SWTOR?

yeah i would forget tera, i did the beta weekend game looks pretty. nothing else good to say about it really.

Swtor is what you should be looking at if you have not played it. a good month or 2 worth of fun there.

Usually games based on movies stink. Plus I am not a rabid star wars person. Who knows -- I might pick it up if I can't think of something else -- but I figure it will be below $50 soon also.

I think Tera will be quite good, but I also understand it caters to a specific crowd. I'm in the same position as you pretty much, playing some single-player games and some League of Legends and DotA 2 currently. A bit of Tribes: Ascend too.

The exp to level in Tera goes up quite steeply in the 40's, playing the Korean Tera was quite fun though and I still look forward to the US release.
