I've had 2 dogs pull that crap when they got locked in a bedroom all day. Besides the blinds, one ate all the carpet in front of the door, too.
That went over well.

That went over well.
The only reason we got out of paying for the carpet is that they were supposed to replace the carpet before we moved in but failed to do so, so when we renewed our lease we had them replace it then. Luckily the doggie attack happened before the new carpet.
