Yeah, I read an article where they did a point by point refutation with numbers of that. I can totally believe it coming from him though.
I do not get what his appeal is.

the media is hyping frothy more than is warranted....a couple hundred or thousand people voting per state is no indication of what average people like
i talk politics on a daily basis to lots of people.... old people...young people...christians....atheists...not one person has any intention of voting for any of the republican crazies...and not one has anything good to say about frothy or gingrich and are downright hostile in their opinions of them
most are at least not hostile of romney(i think he's a douche)....
what is surprising is....most people mention ron paul briefly...not necessarily supporting him....but in a casual way like "i like his view on this but not this" ....most of the conversation about him is almost like rooting for the underdog sports team...like they are kinda hoping he wins just because it would be funny...
