For my little one, if she wants attention and doing figure-8's between my legs while im on the computer doesn't work, she puts her front pawn on my leg, reaches out to my ribcage and tickles...
If I ignore her, she does a lightning jump on my lap and digs in with her back claws on my thigh.
This is normally what happens next:
"OWW!! GODDAMMIT KITTY!"
Dad from the other room: "Pet her next time."

All damn day and the cat will only bug me when it is time to eat. Go to bed though and the cat is walking all over me, nibbling my arm and head butting me. Between the dog and the cat I am amazed I have room on the bed, lol.
