They had really good giant cookies. Now they are single wrapped, midsize at best, and do not at all look special.

I always thought panera was over rated.

Actually except for the rare chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread, the only thing I tended to get there was the occasional cookie. I mean their bagels were awful and their portions anemic on the sandwiches but one thing you could always count on was a good bakery cookie out of them.

They dont even have that now and even though I havent been there in a few years, I dont see any reason to ever go back there now.

Naw -- it is just another of the "little things in life" that has vanished.

I'm not sure how the panera by me stays in business... They offer free wifi, and there is a starbucks right next door that doesn't have enough seating. So all the college kids by their starbucks then go over to panera to sit and study using Panera's wifi. It's hilarious because no one buys anything at panera.

I enjoy their chicken noodle soup in a sourdough bowl every once and a while.
