Not sure about the data thingy.
TBH, it frustrated me so much that when I finally beat the second map, I kept losing on the third so many time in a row...I rage-quit.
If you want a distraction from that TD game, try Hands of War: Tower Defense
I like that you have save slots for the 3 different 'Heros' you can play, and you can align with different guilds depending on wich way you want to go. The skill tree is well done and balanced, and I love that the same voice actor was hired from Kingdom Rush.

whatcha gotta do is just redo maps 1 and 2 over and over again untill you build up your soldiers and stuff.....my mage, warrior and archers are currently level 1 and want to get them up to 2 or three...
almost succeeded on the second map last night till i siht the bed on the last wave

instead of just redoing the first map over and over set the first map on endless, you can get good amount of materials from doing this, think I made it to wave 115 before I got bored and let the game beat, took several hours to get that far. You can also upgrade your units as the game goes, took me awhile to figure that out but once I did it became easy at the begning.
Think I got to map 6 or 7 before I gave up on this game, it simply takes to much time. Wish it had a 5x or 10x speed option.

wait wait....u can do endless and get mana, manuals, and materials? and also upgrade during game play?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yes endless gets you materials. And to upgrade units in game click on them you will either have an option to sell them, or upgrade them at the cost of gold.

First 3 maps all took me less than 3 attempts to complete, not that hard so far.

Ok -- question about monsters that can't be targetted by units....
Beyond spears, how do you kill them?
In essence I got to like level 74 on the endless with my normal rats nest maze where the monsters have to take a huge snakelike path across the board about 15 times (pretty good at those -- I am probably pretty close to the longest possible path) but even with slow tiles and spike tiles all the way through -- those wraithy guys can make it from start to finish. Everything else dies a horrible death.

So no good methods of dealing with "Can't be targeted" monsters beyond spike and hope and burn all your mana?
